OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1986, we are an independent, ecumenical congregation affiliated with the International Council of Community Churches. Our members come from many backgrounds and traditions, gathering around a common mission to worship God in Christian unity without uniformity, to embrace diversity without divisiveness, and to embody the teachings of Christ with relevance to the needs of our world today. Our mission is to build and be an inclusive community of Christian love and faith to work toward healing in ourselves and our world.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY
We have Sunday service at 10:00am. The worship service typically lasts under an hour with a combination of prayer, praise, and the preaching of God's Word. The messages seek to be faithful to the Bible, gospel-centered, and applicable to everyday life. Our goal is to help people learn what it means to follow Christ and to impact the world with the gospel.
We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month.
Children are an important part of the life of OPCC -- including our worship. While there is nursery care available for all services, children are welcomed and included in our worship. After which, the children are invited go to Sunday school classes, grades K through 8, where they have a time of sharing, crafts and Christian Education. (September - June)

THE LOVE OF CHRIST IS FOR ALL
Since the founding of Orchard Park Community Church in 1986, we have been open, affirming, and supportive of our LGBTQ siblings in Christ.

We invite all persons to participate fully in the life and sacred practices of the church including baptism, communion, marriage, and ordination. Central in our values is a desire to create space that is loving and inclusive of all persons and that empowers each person to live, serve, and lead as God calls them.
